Freshman Forum: Preparing for Virtual Final Exams

Your First Finals Kit Pick-Up

Your First Year will be handing out finals kits which include a FREE UNCG branded mug, study supplies, antibacterial wipes, and a postcard of the Class of 2024 photo as part of Stress Less Week (more information below)! Come see us in EUC Azalea at the following dates and times:

  • Tuesday, November 17 from 11 a.m – 4 p.m.
  • Wednesday, November 18 from 2 – 4 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 19 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Class of 2024 photo is here! Everyone who sent in a photo is included in this mosaic. Use this link to download the photo and zoom way in to find yourself or your friends! There will also be a printed version available for pick-up with the Your First Finals Kit as part of Stress Less Week this week (dates and times above).
Stress Less Week
November 16 – November 20 

Your First Year and ACE are hosting a week-long series of programs to help you de-stress from the semester. Here is the schedule:



Last Day of Classes 
LDOC: Tuesday, November 24

A little over a week to go! Tuesday, November 24 is the last day of classes. The University’s Academic Calendar states students should attend their Monday scheduled classes on Tuesday. Check each of your syllabi for details and contact your instructors if you have any questions!
Finals Exams Schedule
Final Exam Week: November 30 – December 5

You can view the Fall 2020 Final Exam schedule here. Each of your classes will be assigned a 3-hour time block for its final exam. Look closely because the final exam schedule is different from your semester’s class schedule. The Freshman Forum: Preparing for Virtual Final Exams recording is available here to help you prepare!

6-TECH is offering extended hours during the exam week Monday, November 30 – Friday, December 4 from 7 a.m. to midnight, and Saturday, December 5 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m to address any technology issues you may have; issues specifically related to your exams will have to be resolved by instructors. 6-TECH can be reached at (336-256-8324) or via chat at 6tech.uncg.edu.
