SOAR is UNC Greensboro’s new student orientation program required for all incoming undergraduates. SOAR is an interactive program designed to support students and their families as they transition into a new academic environment.
During SOAR, you will explore and connect with UNCG’s many people, programs, and resources. Students and their families will meet with academic advisors, learn about campus resources, experience the UNCG environment, make new friends, and much more! You will build a strong support system to serve as the foundation for your personal and academic success. Following your SOAR experience, we know you will feel prepared to make a successful transition to college, form a strong connection to UNCG, and establish a sense of Spartan Pride.
