Let’s get down to business! By now we hope you’ve looked over all of your class syllabi and noted important dates and projects. It may feel overwhelming at first, but you have so many resources and people on campus who can help! If you are interested in tutoring or academic skills assistance, contact the Student Success Center! Labor Day

Monday, September 2nd is Labor Day. Offices are closed and classes are not in session. Take advantage of the time off to get ahead on some of your assignments or practice #selfcare! Fountain View dining hall will be open from 9:00AM – 8:00PM. The Kaplan Center will be open from 10:00AM – 11:00PM.

If you’re still searching for the perfect friends to hang out with, reach out to your ConnectUp groups! Be brave and set something up: group exercise, dinner, a trip downtown. It might be awkward at first, but everyone is in the same boat. Your
ConnectUp groups are a great starting point to making lifelong connections and will help you have a smoother transition to college!

First Year SpartanConnect Challenge

YFY challenges you to complete the minimum requirements for the Co-Curricular Transcript (CCT) during your first year! The CCT is part of the SpartanConnect program which helps you get involved on campus.

How do I find my CCT??

Head to your SpartanConnect account
Sign in with your UNCG credentials
Scroll down and click “Path”
Click “Co-Curricular Transcript”

From there, explore the 6 domains and start planning what activities you would like to do during your first year. Want to learn even more? Check out the First Year SpartanConnect Challenge website. You can receive prizes for just participating in CCT activities! If you complete the minimum requirements for your CCT by the end of the school year, you will receive a “Proud to be a Spartan” pin and we will send a letter detailing your accomplishments to the Dean of your college or school!
