Storm the Streets

Storm the Streets is an annual one-mile spirit march from the UNCG Baseball Stadium to the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, to celebrate the men’s basketball home opener. Join Spiro, cheerleaders, and hundreds of your fellow Spartans to cheer on the Spartan men’s basketball team for their first home game of the season.

Schedule of events TBD!

4:30 p.m. – Check-in

  • Check-in at the UNCG Baseball Stadium. Be sure to bring your UNCG SpartanCard.

4:30 – 5:30 p.m. – Spartan Tailgate

  • Enjoy free food, spirit swag, prizes, games, and music. Dress up in your favorite blue and gold spirit wear for the Spartan spirit contest!

5:30 p.m. – Storm the Streets!

  • Spirit march to the Greensboro Coliseum.

7 p.m. – Cheer on the Spartans as they take on Florida Gulf Coast!

  • No large bags or backpacks are permitted inside the Coliseum – plan accordingly.
