Midterm grades are here! Join us at Making the Most of Midterms to learn what midterm grades are and what your midterm grade is telling you. Panelists including, faculty, staff, and students will be at this event ready to answer all your questions on midterms.
Career Fair
Wednesday September 27 from 1 – 4 p.m.
Kaplan Center
Join CPD and YFY to get ahead in the networking game and make connections at the Fall Career Fair. This event is an opportunity to explore career options with a diverse set of employers and/or network with companies at which you are interested in interning or working for full-time. In addition, a number of graduate schools will be in attendance to talk to students about their programs. Professional attire is encouraged!
Accountability Hours
All Month, Wednesdays and Thursday from 1 – 4 p.m.

Get some work done with the AAC! On Wednesdays and Thursdays of September the AAC is offering accountability hours from 1 – 4 p.m. in the AAC office. Visit the AAC during these times for free study support in a comfy environment!

Students who attend this session hosted by the Academic Achievement Center will practice planning for upcoming finals and will explore different self-testing and test-anxiety-reducing strategies to improve their test performance.

This event is an opportunity to explore career options with a diverse set of employers and/or network with companies at which you are interested in interning or working full-time. In addition, several graduate schools will be in attendance to talk to students about their programs. No matter your reason for attending, professional attire is encouraged.
Please come prepared with multiple copies of your resume to provide to employers. First impressions are important, and you never know what connections you will make!

Let’s get ready to celebrate! Bring your friends and join the Your First Year team on the last day of classes, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Second Year Launch. We will be located in front of The Caf around the fountain view dining area. You can expect to see:
- A live DJ performance
- FREE food & games
- Photo booth
- Appearances by Spiro & our cheer squad
- FREE testing kits – scantron, blue book, highlighter, etc.
- Other surprise FREE giveaways!
Interest in reviewing meal plans for the summer/fall? Need job/internship recommendations? Tutoring suggestions? UNCG Dining, Academic Achievement Center, Career & Professional Development, and Campus Activities & Programs will all be there to provide resources and support to you all!
