This event is an opportunity to explore career options with a diverse set of employers and/or network with companies at which you are interested in interning or working full-time. In addition, several graduate schools will be in attendance to talk to students about their programs. No matter your reason for attending, professional attire is encouraged.
Please come prepared with multiple copies of your resume to provide to employers. First impressions are important, and you never know what connections you will make!

Students who attend this session hosted by the Academic Achievement Center will practice planning for upcoming finals and will explore different self-testing and test-anxiety-reducing strategies to improve their test performance.
Second Year Launch

Outdoors, in front of Moran Commons
Let’s get ready to celebrate! Bring your friends and join the Your First Year team on the last day of classes, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Second Year Launch. We will be located in front of The Caf around the fountain view dining area. You can expect to see:
- A live DJ performance
- FREE food & games
- Photo booth
- Appearances by Spiro & our cheer squad
- FREE testing kits – scantron, blue book, highlighter, etc.
- Other surprise FREE giveaways!
Interest in reviewing meal plans for the summer/fall? Need job/internship recommendations? Tutoring suggestions? UNCG Dining, Academic Achievement Center, Career & Professional Development, and Campus Activities & Programs will all be there to provide resources and support to you all!

An event for first year students to get to know the YFY team! We will be passing out FREE insomnia cookies, flyers about our office and the YFY Success Series, and other giveaways at this event. We will also be answering questions or concerns that students may have about the first semester of school.
In addition, during the How to College 101 pop up event, students will also have the chance to sign up for tutoring and participate in other fun activities with the AAC!
