Hey Spartans!
How’s it going?

This month marks a year since our campus changed abruptly. We are so proud of how resilient and positive our community has remained! As a reminder, the YFY texting line, 1-336-541-6939, is still available should you need anything!
Virtual Advising and Registration

Advising Appointments
Virtual advising appointments will continue through April 21. Be sure to schedule an appointment with your academic advisor to discuss potential courses for the Fall 2021 semester and to receive your advising code.

Contacting Your Advisor
If you don’t have an advisor listed in UNCGenie, or if you have any questions about who you should be contacting for advising-related questions, you can contact the academic advising center for your College/School. Select your College or School from this list to go directly to your advising center’s webpage and view their contact information.

Registering for Classes
Registration for the Summer 2021 and Fall 2021 semesters is currently open! You will be allowed to register for Fall 2021 classes during your registration window which can be found on UNCGenie. Your registration window will only be open for a limited time, so be sure to double check when your assigned time opens and closes!

The Academic Relief Package makes several temporary changes to the University’s academic policies to help lessen the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The current Academic Relief Package has 3 components:

  • Limited Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory grading (available on UNCGenie starting May 12)
  • Course withdrawal options
  • Grade replacement flexibility

Every student’s graduation plan and path is different, so before you opt-in to any or all of these options, make sure to talk to your academic advisor or weigh your options using the resources at this link.
